What makes it good value

Apps are provisioned with the account. Options included qBittorrent and Emby, so the initial experience involves little setup work if the initial app selection fits your needs.

The Swizzin-based panel provides a familiar home for the installed services. Customers who already use seedbox software should have little trouble recognizing it.
The compromises
App selection is locked in during checkout, from a nine-option checklist. No app-store is available once the purchase is made, unlike what several competitors have to offer. If you need more apps, you will have to install them via SSH - there Plex, Prowlarr and many more apps are available.

The day-to-day interface
The billing area handles the subscription; the separate box panel opens installed apps and displays resource information.
Browser file access consisted of basic download links divided into application folders.
Our verdict
For an established downloader-and-media-server setup, Hosting by Design’s pricing is hard to ignore. Ultra offers more room to experiment with apps, while Whatbox has a more cohesive management experience.
